Birge — Mrs. Sarah E. Birge, widow of Samuel P. Birge, died at her home in this village Monday night last, following and illness of only a week with erysipelas. Mrs. Birge was born in Great Barrington, Mass., seventy years ago, and she has been a resident of Geneseo upwards of 50 years.
