Newspaper obituary for Henrietta Card Foote, wife of Gustavus Baylies, Esq., of Union Avenue, Newtown village, died at sunset last Sunday. For nearly six months she had been a great sufferer from nervous prostration, which she endured with marked Christian fortitude uncomplainingly. Her spirit departed without the slightest struggle, and from a mortal life of pain and misery she entered immortality to receive her reward. The deceased was an active member of society, and will be greatly missed; but the loss of the circle in which she moved is her gain, for all realize that her great sufferings have ceased and believe that she has entered the rest of which her strong faith always gave abundant promise. The funeral services were performed at her late residence, yesterday afternoon, after which he remains were removed for a final rest to the beautiful Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
