ESTELLE LOCKHART FOOTE, 96, of Memphis, died July 16, 2008 at Baptist Hospital of Memphis. Visitation will be from 47 p.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery in Bartlett. Born on March 9, 1912 in Camden, TN, Mrs. Foote was the youngest of 11 children to Harrison and Dollie Lockhart. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard E. Foote. She is survived by her daughters Ann Godfrey of Knoxville, TN, and Kay Martin of Montgomery, AL; four grandchildren Ben Godfrey, Lynn Wonders, Leslie Carter, Earl Martin III; and eight grandchildren.
