Violet Elizabeth Forde. Her father died when he was 33 in Birkenhead England. Her mother could not support her 5 children as a mantle maker. As a result all 5 children were placed in the Liverpool Sheltering Home and sent to Canada and were referred to as British Home Children. They all wound up at the Knowlton Home in Knowlton Quebec and were put up for adoption. Violet was adopted by the Jenne family.
