January 17, 1962 - April 11, 2016 Born in New York City on January 17th, 1962 to Aaron and Lois Frankel, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of April 11th, 2016 at age 54. Kevin was a brilliant corporate lawyer and mad sports fan, with a thirst for adventure, a deep love and devotion to family and friends, and an indefatigable spirit that took joy in every moment of life. When he was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, it was this spirit that kept him strong and allowed him to beat the odds for a breathtakingly long time. Kevin lived, loved, traveled, partied, devoured experience and gave of himself as freely and fiercely as he fought his disease. His was an accidental master class in pure titanium steel-plated badassery. And ultimately, it was a fight that was lost only because cancer is a coward that does not fight fair. We and all his many friends will miss him and keep him forever in our hearts and in our lives.
