The 1920 US Census shows Ruby & her sister, Mildred Geboe, were living in Lawrence, Ward 3, Douglas, Kansas. They were attending the Haskell Indian School at the time.
On November 27, 1923 Ruby Geboe married Henry Frank, Sr. in Creek County, Oklahoma. Henry was the son of the Rev. Tingo and Amanda Jones Frank of Arbeka in Seminole County. Ruby and Henry had two sons...Henry, Jr. and Norman Tingo, "Buddy" Frank.
After approximately 20 years of marriage, Ruby and Henry Frank, Sr. obtained a divorce. Ruby then married James Francis Comiskey circa 1943. Ruby and James lived in several states during their lifetimes. They had no children.
Ruby was a homemaker. She was an excellent seamstress. At one time she owned and operated her own tailoring shop in Oklahoma City. She didn't keep the business open too long, just a couple of years or so.
Ruby was greatly interested in all things Indian. As a young lady, she was crowned an Indian Princess. In her middle age she researched her own family tree and she kept with the traditional Indian festivals and celebrations. The Green Corn Festival was one of her favorites.
After Jim passed away and Ruby grew older, she became unable to handle her own affairs. Her son, Buddy, came to Oklahoma and moved her to California to be closer to him.
Ruby passed away on April 17, 2000. She was laid to rest at the El Camino Memorial Park Cemetery on Canyon Road in San Diego.
