Funeral services for Alice Marguerite Freeman, 84, of Hanceville will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at First United Methodist Church of Hanceville, the Rev. Paul Campbell officiating, with interment in Hopewell Cemetery.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Freeman passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Marguerite was born May 3, 1928, in Cullman County to Roy and Delle Gamble Allred. She lived in Pell City and Birmingham and moved back to her hometown of Hanceville in 1999. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hanceville. She will be missed dearly by her friends and loved ones, but has left each one with many special memories.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Freeman.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Freeman (David) Wood; granddaughters, Carrie Rachel Sayers and Amy Wood (Rylan) Jager; great-granddaughter, Sadie Elizabeth Sayers; brothers, Emmett (Muriel) Allred and William K. (Peggy) Allred; and sister, Telula Allred (Frank) Thornton.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
