April 26, 1920- Dec. 11, 2014 Jewel F. Arrington – age 94 passed away on December 11, 2014. God sent his angel to take her home. Mrs. Arrington loved her family and friends, enjoyed gardening, walking in the park, sewing and having birthday parties. She was a welder during the World War II. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dempsey and Susan Freeman; husband of 18 years Otto Arrington; daughter, Barbara Trammell; grandson, Scott Thompson; five brothers, Claude Freeman, Harvey Freeman, Vernon Freeman, , Rich Freeman and Leonard Freeman; three sisters, Janelle Horn, Louetta Freeman and Johnnie Carney; four children, Linda Thompson, Brenda Logan, Robbie Mason and Robert Arrington; two sisters, Martha Dale Delaughter and Marie Boise; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 noon until service time at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Mercy Life Adult Day Care and Mercy Medical Hospice.
