Heidi Frei Forbes returned home to her Heavenly Father at the age of thirty-three on January 17, 2014 due to complications from pneumonia and the flu.
She was born November 27, 1980 in Murray, Utah to Russell C. and the late Jeralyn G. Frei. She grew up in Kearns and graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1999.
In 2002, she served an LDS mission in Detroit, Michigan. Heidi married Daniel Forbes and on January 15, 2004 they welcomed the light of her life, Spencer Forbes, in to the world. Heidi and Daniel later divorced. She currently resided in Vernal, Utah, where she was a loved employee at Deseret Industries.
She is survived by her son, Spencer; father, Russell; grandmother's, Joey Frei and Elaine Seegmiller; brothers, Brandon (Mandy), Jake (Jennifer), and Josh; sisters, Alecia (Greg) Treaster and Heather (Greg) Jensen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jeralyn; grandfather's, LeGrand Frei, Jack Seegmiller, and Gerald Green; two nieces; and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. Friends and family may visit at the mortuary on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the services.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery.
