WORLAND, Wyo. - Julia Mathilda Frei Felt, 95, of Worland, Wyo., a former longtime Idaho Falls resident, died Sept. 10, 1993, at Washakie Memorial Hospital in Worland of natural causes.
She was born June 3, 1898, at Payson, Utah, to John Henry and Katherine Oswald Frei. She was orphaned when she was 6 and was raised by her grandmother. She attended schools in Coltman and Idaho Falls. She was a member of the Idaho Falls High School class of 1917, the school's first graduating class. She then worked as a bank teller for 12 years.
On Sept. 1, 1930, she married Walter Irvin Felt at Burley. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple Nov. 28, 1947. She was a homemaker. Her husband died April 17, 1974.
She was an active member of the LDS Church. She was also active in the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children, Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Conway of Lafayette, Calif., Rowland Felt of Idaho Falls, and John Felt and Gene Felt, both of Thayne, Wyo.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and a grandson.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Idaho Falls with Bishop Kenneth Piippo of the Idaho Falls LDS 3rd Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday for one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
