Bettie Marie French Albertson, 77 of Ashton, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at the Ashton living Center. She was born June 1, 1927, in Ashton to Chester Norris French and Jamima "Neva" Christensen French. She attended schools in Farnum, Drummond and Ashton, graduating from Ashton High School in 1946. She then attended the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Daniel Eugene "Gene" Albertson on Jan. 1, 1948, in Drummond. After their marriage they farmed and raised cattle in Lamont. He died July 25, 1990. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in a variety of church callings. She was also a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers and a member of the Chubby Chucklers Friendship Club. Her hobbies included working hard in her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens and canning the produce she had grown. She enjoyed cooking for her family and being with them at family gatherings. She is survived by two children, Chester Daniel (Diane) Albertson of Wyoming and Marla Marie Albertson of Ashton; two grandsons and one great grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and her husband. Funeral services conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the Ashton LDS stake center by Bishop Mike Davidson. Interment in the Pineview Cemetery.
