Bedford, Tx. - Jennifer Lea Fryar Bubics, age 42, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Bedford. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Austin Avenue Church of Christ, 1020 Austin Ave, Brownwood. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. Jennifer's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Jennifer was born January 5, 1971 in Lubbock. She attended Brownwood schools and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1989. She was Captian in the Lionettes Drill Team while at BHS. She attended Tarleton State University and Abilene Christian University, and graduated from Aladdin School of Cosmetology in Abilene, in 1998. She married William Karl Bubics in Abilene on April 15, 2000. She was a member of the Austin Avenue Church of Christ.

Jennifer was a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America. She volunteered and was employed for several years at the Bedford Public Library. She loved books and was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Steve E. Fryar and maternal grandparents, Howard and Sara Ella Thompson.

She is survived by her husband, William Bubics, two daughters, Victoria and Elizabeth Bubics, parents, Calvin and Mary Belle Fryar, her brother, Steve Fryar and wife Dianne, grandmother Sena Fryar, uncle Ron Fryar, aunt and uncle Margaret and J. Fred Perry, mother and father in law Les and Pat Bubics of Mundelein, IL, sister and brother in law Lisa and Lance Barnes of Whitefish Bay, WI, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.

The family requests memorials may be made the Bedford Public Library, 2424 Forest Ridge Dr. Bedford, TX 76021 or the Literacy Council of America, 1441 Mariposa Avenue Bolder, CO 80302
