Sandra Jean Fuchs, age 61 of Torrington, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington after a long illness. Miss Fuchs was born in Danbury, March 8, 1950, daughter of Florence Pomeroy Fuchs of Gaylordsville and the late Martin C. Fuchs. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Charles M. Fuchs of Monroe, and Karl C. Fuchs of Gaylordsville. Private burial will take place at Morningside Cemetery, Gaylordsville at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street. New Milford. Contributions in her memory may be made to Gaylordsville United Methodist Church, 687 Kent Road, Gaylordsville, CT 06755.
