Alice Jane Fuller, age 70, died Monday, January 10, 2011 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born July 11, 1940 in Marysville, Utah to Louis Paxman and Enid June Sargent Lund. In March, 1957 she married Ernest John Fuller in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had three children and were later divorced. Alice grew up in Moapa Valley, Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada. She raised her family in Las Vegas, working as a blackjack dealer. She has lived in Mesquite for the last sixteen years. She enjoyed being a member of the LDS Church, singing in choirs and rock collecting. Her family was the most important part of her life. Survivors include three daughters: Michele Fuller of Pahrump, NV: Debora (Curtis) Cannon of Las Vegas, NV; Theresa (Gilbert) Montoya of Oklahoma City, OK; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her companion of 18 years, John Anthony Mitchell; one grandson and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Mesquite 5th Ward Whipple Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation will be from 11:30 - 12:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Mesquite City Cemetery under the direction of Virgin Valley Mortuary.
