Lizzie E. Hunt was born in Mass. to Capt. William and Elizabeth Hunt. She married Frederick Ahlers on January 14, 1872 in Austin, Nevada. Their nine children, as recorded in the Bible are: Emma F., Martha E., Matilda N., Frederick W., Lizzie H., Bertha B., Frankie J., Helena H., Oliver I.C. Ahlers. They lived on a ranch in the Reese River Valley, 20 miles from Austin, Nevada. After Fred died, Lizzie married Edward B. Fuller. She is my great-grandmother. My grandmother, Helena told me Lizzie had beautiful long red hair and that they lived in a large brick house.
