Mary Ruth Boyd (Fuller), 85, passed away in her home surrounded by family on April 1, 2011. Mary was born in Greenville, SC on January 22, 1926 and has been a long time resident of Fairfield. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Boyd, Sr.; her father, Ernest Troy Fuller; and her mother, Bertha Fuller and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mary will forever live on through her family and friends. She is survived by her six children, Ernest Clayton (Rosa) Harper of Virginia, Carolyn Taylor of Oceanside, James (Valda) Boyd of Vacaville, Dawud (Joyce) Sabir of Fairfield, Lema Boyd, Patrick Boyd of Fairfield; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Brothers Jasper Fuller of SC and Edward Fuller of Monterey, sisters Janie Pearl Wilson of SC and Jessie "B" Anderson of SC and Jeanette Albert of Sacramento.
Mary was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. A special thank you to Yolo Hospice for their loving care.
