Arnetta M. Bendure, 44, of Connersville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Reid Hospital of Richmond, Indiana.
One of seven children, she was born October 14, 1970 in Connersville, the daughter of Alfred and Amanda Weaver Gabbard.
Sweethearts for over 21 years to Kevin M. Bendure, they were married on August 7, 2007. Mr. Bendure survives.
A member of Community Gospel Church, she had been employed as a home health aide; in her leisure, she loved to sew, collect Longaberger Baskets and various valuable antiques, but especially to spend with her family, particularly her grandchildren.
Besides her beloved husband, Arnetta is survived by six children, Joshua Dane Huffman and his fiancé Lacie Toschlog of Connersville, Jordan Michael Huffman and his fiancé Lauren Lynn of Indianapolis, Shane Michael Bendure, Heather Irene Bendure, Keith Glen Bendure and his fiancé Ciara Northcutt and Emmanuel Scott Bendure, all of Muncie, Indiana, six grandchildren, a sister, Yolanda Gabbard of Richmond, four brothers, Travis and Wiley Gabbard, both of Connersville, Raven Gabbard of Groveland, Florida and Colemen Gabbard and his wife Belinda of New Zealand, and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Amanda Gabbard, and a brother, Denver Gabbard.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1 PM Friday, February 6, 2015, at Community Gospel Church with Revs. Coleman Gabbard and Robert E. Lee officiating; burial will be in Stipps Hill Cemetery in rural Franklin County. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until 1 PM on Friday.
