Windsor—Mrs. Agnes Gable Arnold, 8 West Main street, member of the official board of Emmanuel EUB church, president of Women's Missionary society and otherwise active church worker, died at 4 p. m. yesterday at York hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. She was 78 years old.
A member of the official board of Emanuel EUB church for 40 years, Mrs. Arnold served as president of the Women's Missionary society for 20 years. She was a teacher of the Women's Sunday school class for 50 years, and held life membership in the Denominational Missionary society.
Active in Christian Endeavor work, Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Sunday School Building committee since its organization four years ago and treasurer of the church benevolence fund for 10 years. She was a daughter of the late G. W. and Mary Ann Lehman Gable. Her husband, Samuel Arnold, preceded her in death.
Surviving are: Three children, Mrs. Edgar Flinchbaugh, 6 West Main street; Gable L. Arnold, Red Lion, and Mrs. W. Henry Snyder, Red Lion, RD 1; a sister, Mrs. Clara J. Baker, this place; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. at the late home. Her pastor, Rev. Paul V. Cunkle, will officiate. Interment will be in Windsor cemetery. Funeral Directors Earl B. Burg and Son, Red Lion, have charge of arrangements.
