Edith Jaton Gable of Highland, born in Solvay, New York, had lived in San Bernardino County for 53 years, died Monday of cardiopulmonary arrest at Valley Health Care Center at the age of 87. She was a homemaker for 67 years and was survived by her husband, James, her son, Richard J. of Redlands, her daughter, Gail E. Martin of San Diego, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside service is set for 11 a.m. on Thursday at Montecito Memorial Park with Bobbitt Memorial Chapel of San Bernardino in charge of the arrangements.
