Geneva - Albert Gabor, 67, of Geneva, died Monday in his home following a lingering illness. Gabor was born Nov. 27, 1918, in South Madison and had been a Geneva resident since 1947. Prior to that he lived in Madison. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He retired from True Temper in Geneva, where he had been employed in manufacturing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Demian and Mary Gabor and two brothers, Andrew and William.
Survivors include his widow, Julia; three brothers, Edward, Alton, and Ralph, all of Madison; and two sisters Esther Fidel of Unionville and Mry Dale of Euclid.
Private graveside services will be held tomorrow. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Salovation Army. Envelopes for contributions are available at the Belding-Webster Funeral Home at 175 S. Broadway in Geneva.
