With us, has lived a virtuous woman, whose price is far above rubies, and we, her adoring children, grand-children, and great grandchildren rise up and call her blessed.

Mildred V. Galbraith Anderson passed away September 2, 2000.

Born Dec 16, 1913 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada to Estella Van Wagoner and David Layton Gal-braith. She was always proud of her dual citizenship of Canada and the United States. She married Leo Vett Anderson of Lehi, UT Sept 22, 1938 in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple.

Preceded in death by her husband, Leo Vett, Sept 17, 1960; and two brothers, Bruce and Garth Galbraith, Raymond, Alberta, Canada. Her darling sister, Donna Galbraith Bennett Lybert, Lethbridge, Canada, bravely carries on the tradition of the Galbraith name; three beloved sisters-in-law, Josephine Johnson, Salt Lake City, Verda Rasband, Orem, Ella Galbraith, Raymond.

Mother was the queen among her 155 descendants. Her children, Estella (DeLoy) Crofts, Orem, VaLayne (Val) Finlayson, West Jordan, Van (Linda Potter) Anderson, Murray, David (Colleen Ewell) Anderson, Honeyville, Jim (Jeannie Lippincott) Anderson, South Jordan, Allen (RaeLynne Walsh) Anderson, Firth, ID, Mary (Al) Stosich, South Jordan, and Chris (Connie Roseberry) Anderson, West Jordan.

Mildred strengthened and served every community she lived in from Raymond, Alberta to Provo to Union to Orem. All around her have been nurtured by her love, taught by her example and strengthened by her heroic spirit. Even during the last three years, with the devastating effects of Alzheimer's, her life was treasured and meaningful to all who knew her. She lived each day with the faith of a child, the deep, silent ache of loss and now at last, the unspeakable joy of return.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tues. Sept 5, in the South Jordan LDS 4th Ward, 2556 W. 9800 S, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Anderson & Sons Mortuary, American Fork.
