He was born April 10, 1931, in Leon, the son of Austin and Olga Heilman Galbraith,He is survived by two sons: Benjamin C. Galbraith Jr. of Dunkirk, and Bruce A. Galbraith of Sinclairville; a daughter, Deborah L. Warner of Bemus Point; three grandchildren: Philip Galbraith of Girard, Pa., Christine M. Galbraith of Sinclairville, and Jarred A. Warner of Bemus Point; a brother, James Galbraith of Randolph; and a sister, Alice Booth of Conewango.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine Tranmer Galbraith, whom he married Sept. 22, 1950, and who died Dec. 20, 2003; and a brother, Carl H. Galbraith who died Oct. 26, 1990
