She was born September 24, 1916 in El Rito, NM to Juan and Maria Apalonia Gonzales Gallegos. She married Jose Archuleta in April 1945 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved arts and crafts and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Jose; 11 children: Johnny (Min) Martinez, Lester (Marlene) Martinez, Toby (Pauline) Morfin, Lonnie (Susan) Morfin, Edward Archuleta, Lee Archuleta, Christopher (William Goldstein) Archuleta, Billy Archuleta, Victor (Evelyn) Archuleta, Lalo (Peggy) Archuleta, and Joyce (David) Monson; four brothers and sisters, Ray (Suzanna) Gallegos, Gilbert (Kay) Gallegos, Gloria (Donald) Lopez, and Rosa Williams; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur Morfin and Vincent Archuleta and a daughter, Joann Collett.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South. A Vigil Service will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6-7 p.m.
Committal: Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street.
