Patsy Baca, 82, a resident of Barstow for 54 years, died Friday, April 23. 2004 at her resident in Barstow. She was born June 27, 1921 in Los Chavez, N.M.She was an Avon representative for 10 years and worked as a home care worker in the Barstow area for five years. She was also a homemaker for 59 years.She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 54 years. Her hobbies were playing bingo and dancing. She loved to travel to visit her family and enjoyed spending time visiting her friends. Most of all she loved to spend her time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vidal; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Dolores Baca; and brothers, Eduardo, Augustine and Wilfido Gallegos. Survivors include her sons, Jeremiah, Ralph, Manuel and Paul Baca of Barstow; daughters, Mercy Maes and Rosemary Berger of Barstow; grand-daughter that she raised, Sheila Baca of Barstow; sisters, Lillie Cordova, Eloisa Benavidez, Dolores Lucero, and Lugie Guiterrez all of Albuquerque, N.M.; 32 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.
