PEKIN - Darlene A. Gann, 76, of Pekin, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Pekin Hospital.

Darlene was born February 2, 1936, in Peoria, daughter of Walter and Rebecca (Green) Carlton. She married Earl L. Gann.He preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1976, in Milwaukee, Wis.

Surviving are sons, Allen (Rhonda) Gann and Brian (Vickie) Gann and a grandson, Joshua L. Gann.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and one grandson, Jacob E. Gann.

She worked for the Pekin Times for several years. She was also involved with the Pekin Mission Ladies Club.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at the Salvation Army, in Pekin, Ill.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
