Patsy Baker, 75, a lifetime resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was born on April 8, 1939 to John Vernon Gann and Edith Joy (Green) Gann. Patsy attended Muskogee Public Schools and graduated from Muskogee Central High School with the class of 1957.
Patsy married Hubert Leroy Baker on January 7, 1961 in Mexico. She worked for several years at Corning Glass but her greatest joy came from being a homemaker for her family.
Patsy’s interests and hobbies were quilting, painting, playing bingo, cake decorating and spending time with her family and friends. She attended Crescent Valley Baptist Church in Tahlequah and most recently Grandview Baptist Church in Muskogee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Joy Gann, husband Hubert Baker, son Dale Richard Baker, brother John V. Gann J; and her longtime companion and special friend James Diemert.
Patsy is survived by two daughters, one son, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, two brothers, one sister, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 fro 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, Muskogee Oklahoma.
Service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:00 am at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel, Muskogee Oklahoma. Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery.
