Dorothy E. Arndt, 88, formerly of St. Lawrence, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, in Berks Heim. She was the widow of Donald C. Arndt, who died Nov. 28, 2000. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl V. (Heckman) Gans.
Mrs. Arndt worked for CNA Insurance for 19 years until retiring in 1988. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church, Reiffton, where she was a former financial secretary and Sunday School Superintendent. Surviving are two sons, two daughters, four grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton, PA.
