Antonia Garcia "Mama Toñia" Antonia Garcia "Mama Toñia," was born on Feb. 8, 1931 in Jalisco, Mexico. Passed away on Tuesday Feb. 4, 2014. She came to California in 1949 where she resided in Lindsay, CA until the time of her passing. She was married to Pedro Garcia for 52 years until his passing.She was currently a homemaker who enjoyed to cook and made sure no one ever left her home with out a 3 course meal. Most of the community had the privilege of sampling her meals. She was active in the community and a devoted catholic who attended the Sacred Heart church. She is preceded in death by her son Ramiro and husband Pedro Garcia. Rosary service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 12:30PM and Mass service Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM interment will follow at Lindsay Strathmore Public Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Webb Sanders Funeral Home Monday, February 10, 2014 from 1:00-8:00PM. Webb Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
