Excerpt -- Mrs. Dora Kelly Garner died very suddenly at her home in Orlando, Fla., Wednesday, March 24. She was the daughter of Elias and Elizabeth Kelly and was born in Terra Alta, Oct. 29, 1875, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Thomas F. Garner on Aug. 28, 1898 and resided until about three years ago at Pleasant Dale, north of Kingwood. Since leaving Pleasant Dale Mr. and Mrs. Garner lived in Orlando, Fla. Mrs. Garner is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Garner, and three children as follows: Darrell who resides on the home farm north of Kingwood, and by two daughters, Mrs. Breedlove of Thomas, W.Va. and Velma who is at home. She is also survived by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Elias Kelly. The remains were brought here last Friday and on Sunday funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church, Rev. Magnuson in charge assisted by Rev. Howard Anderson of the M. E. church, and interment was made in the Maplewood Cemetery.
