Alma Louise DuVall

MONTICELLO — Alma Louise DuVall, 75, Monon, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She had been hospitalized four weeks.

She was born Jan. 21, 1909, in Francesville, to Theordore S. and Lillie Ann Bartholomew Garrigues.

She was a member of First Christian Church, Francesville. She had lived in White County most of her life in the communities of Monticello, Buffalo and Monon. She resided in Monticello Health Care Center for several months.

Survivors include her husband, Hugh DuVall; a son, the Rev. Melvin Schoonover, Miami, Fla.; a brother, Howard Garrigues, Francesville; a sister, Helen Large, Panaca, Nev.; and one granddaughter.

A brother preceded in death.

Graveside services were held this morning in Riverview Cemetery, Monticello, with Father Robert Fosselman officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monticello Health Care Center.
