Georgia Bell Garrison Carlos, 76, a native of New Orleans and resident of Pensacola, Fla., and former resident of Houma, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008.
Visitation and rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the funeral home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Don Felipe Carlos; six children, Ketha C. Smallpage of New Orleans, Don Felipe Carlos Jr. of Pensacola; Mary Katherine Crawford of Pensacola, John Manya Carlos of Tampa, Fla., Paula C. Luneau of Paris, France, and Edward Garrison Carlos, M.D., of Mobile, Ala; 15 grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Kimbrell; and one brother, Harvey Garrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Miles and Elizabeth Washington Garrison.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia Carlos Memorial Fund at Brothers of Saint Francis of Assisi, P.O. Box 5103, Lafayette, LA 70502.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
