Born in Shenandoah, Jan. 20, 1930, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Downey Gaughan.
Dolores was the personnel manager for Verizon Co., Philadelphia, until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Cooper, in 1993; brothers, Austin and Kyran Gaughan; sister, Theresa.
Surviving are a son, James Cooper, Florida; daughter, Christina; two grandchildren, Briona Cooper and Morgan Hibbins; nieces and nephews.
A scripture service will be held at 10 a.m. May 14 at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., 40 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah, with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian officiating. Interment will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. There will be a visitation from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service May 14 at the funeral home. Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
