Beth Gwendolyn Gertsch of Bremerton June 29, 1916 to Feb. 4, 2014

Beth Gertsch, 97, of Bremerton, WA, passed away 2/04/2014. She was born 06/29/1916 in Spokane, WA. Beth graduated from Silverdale High school in 1935. She married Ernest Gertsch, 6/4/1938 in Tracyton, WA.

Beth was preceded in death by her husband Ernie, son David and sisters Carole and Lucretia. She is survived by her daughters Gail (Bill) Duross, Diane (Floyd Rider) Como; 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.

Besides keeping an immaculate home and canning everything in sight, Beth did volunteer work with the Boy Scouts and Silver Spurs Riding Club. She was a member of the Homemakers club and Bowling League. Beth also enjoyed square dancing, camping and fishing. Following Ernie's retirement, the couple wintered in Arizona for 28 years and RV'd with the Elks TNF Club.

Services for Beth will be Saturday February 15th, 2:00 PM, at Tracyton Methodist Church.
