MONROE — Miss Alvina (Vena) Gertsch, age 64, of Janesvllle, died on Thursday, June 26, 1980, at Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born on June 23, 1916. She was a bartender in Monroe, Madison, and Janesville.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Selma Gertsch Ladner of Monroe and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Huber, Mrs. Jake (Rose) Huber, and Mrs. Ray E. (Bette) Kundert, all of Monroe.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, at 11 a.m., at the STUESSY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. on Sunday.
