Rosa (Giacometti) Bellini, 88, of 36 Winthrop Street, Springfield, died Saturday at a local hospital. Born in Torri del Benaco, Province of Verona, Italy, in 1877 she came to the United States in 1916 settling in Springfield. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the church's Holy Rosary Society and St. Ann's Society at St. Ann's Church. Her husband, Angelo Bellini, predeceased her. She leaves four sons, Charles Bellini, Frank and Lena Bellini of Springfield, Virginio (Neno) and Derna Bellini of Feeding Hills, and Peter and Enes Bellini of Feeding Hills; a brother, Angelo, of Italy; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Burial took place in St. Michael's Cemetery on State Street in Springfield.
