Cora E. Gibbs.
Miss Cora E. Gibbs, daughter of Goodrich and Laura Gibbs, died yesterday at her apartment in the Great Northern Hotel, Manhattan. Funeral services will first be held at the home of her cousin, Peter Fiero, 322A Monroe street, and then the remains will be taken to Salisbury, Conn., where funeral services will be held at noon in the Presbyterian Church. Miss Ellis [sic] was born in Salisbury, and came in the 80's to New York, acting as stenographer in the Equitable Life Assurance Society for a number of years. In 1891 she went with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company as a stenographer, and was its cashier at her death. For twenty-five years she had been the only support of her mother, who survives her and for whom she has provided.
