Arnold passed away on May 10, 2013 at the age of 84. He was born on December 10, 1928 in Missouri and had been a resident of Hemet for the past 23 years. Arnold was a member of the greatest generation and served in the Marine Corp during World War II where he was deployed to China for almost a year. Arnold was a San Diego Padre baseball fan and enjoyed his annual Peoria, Arizona spring training trips with his family. Arnold was a dedicated member of the Menifee Valley Community Church. Arnold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Delphia, after 56 years of marriage and leaves behind two daughters Cindy Reed of Fallbrook, CA and Kathy Mayer of Carlsbad, CA, as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the Menifee Valley Church located at 29723 New Hub Drive Unit #F, Menifee, CA 92586. Interment will be at the Riverside National Cemetery. Published in Press-Enterprise on May 15, 2013.
