Fairy Giles Alcorn left this life to join her Savior Monday March 4, 2013. Fairy was born on the Giles homestead east of Winters, Texas, July 30, 1928. She farmed the home place her entire life and died there at the age of 84. Fairy loved the land and leaves her family a strong legacy of determination and endurance.
She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Joanie Fuller Mathis and husband Johnny and Lenda Fuller Denson and husband Johnny; four grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one brother Abe Giles and many nieces and nephews. (...and her little four legged friend, Boo).
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, March 7, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at the Winters Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held to celebrate Fairy's life at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Crews cemetery directed by Winters Funeral Home.
