GLENVIILE - Anne J. Gleason, 79, of Glenville, NY, passed away on June 13, 2014 at St. Mary's hospital in Amsterdam, NY.
She was born in Floral Park, NY on September 24, 1934, the daughter of Charles & Lillian McBride Henry. She was employed by K-Mart in Wappingers Falls, NY as a salesperson. Anne was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her son and significant other: Timothy & Tammy of Poughkeepsie, NY; Son & daughter-in-law: Patrick & Chona of Camp Hill, Pa.; son & daughter-in-law: Liam & Ann Marie of Wappingers Falls, NY; daughters and sons-in-laws: Rita & John of Mainsville, Ohio; Eileen & Mike of Glenville, NY and Kathleen & Kevin of Chatham, NY. There are 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother: Charles Henry and sisters: Lillian Maestri and Rita Henry.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 4-7 PM at the Wm. G. Miller & Son FH, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, 231 Church St., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
