Deceased Name: JEAN F. ALDRICH FAMILY FARM WORKER
Jean F. Aldrich, 60, of 103 Oxbow Road, died Wednesday morning in Carthage Area Hospital, where she had been admitted Tuesday evening. She had been ill with respiratory problems for many years.

Born Dec. 2, 1940, in Gouverneur, daughter of Earl and Bertha Worden Gleason, she attended local schools and worked on the family farms for many years.

A marriage to Merlin R. Ingram ended in divorce. She married Grant W. Aldrich on May 23, 1981, in Philadelphia Methodist Church. The couple moved to Theresa in July 1986.

Mrs. Aldrich was an avid horsewoman and motorcyclist.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Ingram, Maine, and Roy and Christine Ingram, Evans Mills; four stepdaughters and a stepson- in-law, Kathie Perrin, Donna Aldrich and Annette and Randy McEathron all of Gouverneur, and Charlene Aldrich, Antwerp; five brothers, Wesley Gleason, Woodville, Roy Gleason, North Carolina, and Elmer, Delos and Harry Gleason, all of Philadelphia; three sisters, Mrs. Everett (Ruth) Hoover, DePeyster, Mary Hall, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Ivan (Edith) Filiatrault, Antwerp, three grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.

A sister, Joanne Preston, died before her.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, with the Rev. Jane E. Wagner of Philadelphia Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to the Theresa Emergency Corps.
