AGE: 88 SOUTH BOUND BROOK
Mary Ames, 88, died peacefully on Sunday (Nov. 16, 2008) at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Somerville to the late Frank and Mary Gluck, Mary lived in Middlesex and for the past 20 years in South Bound Brook.
Mary was a cafeteria worker for the Middlesex Middle School, retiring nine years ago.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, Howard W., in 1970; a daughter, Mary Susan Shulack in 2007; a sister, Agnes DuMont and brother, Robert F. Gluck.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Howard L. Ames of Auburn, Pa. and wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Elinor MacPherson of Toronto, Canada; four grandchildren, Kim, Lisa, Howard and Gregory and four great-grandchilden, Danny, Austin, Liam and Devin.
Mary will be in repose from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21 at the funeral home, followed by burial at Lake Nelson Memorial Park in Piscataway.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
