OBITUARY :
MARGARET E. (GLUCK) CARBAUGH, 91, a resident of Hearthstone Retirement Home, Waynesboro, and formerly of 602 W. Third St., Waynesboro, died on Fnday morning, Oct 30, 2009, at Quincy Home.

She had been in failing health for the past several years and critically ill for the past months.

Born May 11, 1918, in Waynecastle, she was the daughter of Clarence S. and Nancy N. (Bowers) Gluck.

She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area and was a 1936 graduate of the Waynesboro High School.

She and her husband of 57 years Charles M. Carbaugh who died May 10, 1999 were married May 29, 1937 in Hagerstown. They lived at 709 W. Main St., then moved to 17 Frick Ave. in July 1953. After her husband's death, she relocated to 602 W. Third St. in September 1997 and then to Hearthstone Retirement home in August 2008.

She was a retired nurse's aide South Mountain Restoration Center, with more than 20 years of service in 1986.

She was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by her sons, Charles Lanny Carbaugh, Francis C. Fritz Carbaugh and Daniel Vaughn Carbaugh She is also survived
by six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Germantown Bethel Church of God Cascade, Md.

Graveside service will be private at the German town Bethel Church of God cemetery with the Rev Mark Hostler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Window Project Fund of the Germantown Bethel Church of God 16924 Raven Rock Road, Cascade, Md. 21719-9501
