The life of Aleksandra "Sasha" Lancaster will be celebrated in a memorial service on Thursday, March 4, 2:00 p.m. at the Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs.
Sasha grew up in Samara, Russia, along the Volga River during the end of the Soviet Union. She received a Bachelors of Pedagogics from Togliatti State University in 1997 and moved to the U.S. in 1999 where she met and married her husband John Tracy Lancaster in 2001.
Sasha was a Cruise Vacation Specialist for Carnival Cruise Lines in Colorado Springs, where she was top sales agent for 2006, 2007 and 2008.
She is survived by her husband John, her son Michael John and daughter Julia Shannon of Colorado Springs. And by her mother Olga Marchuk, father Nikolay Glushchenko, and brother Michael of Samara, Russia.
The service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Flowers and remembrances can be sent on the day of the service in care of Woodmen Valley Chapel, 280 East Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs.
