SUNRAY — Henry Lea Dooley Cartrite, 87, formerly of Sunray, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church in Sunray with Cowboy Ministers, Ron Matthews and Larry Ross officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors of Sunray.
Henry was born Nov. 12, 1927, in Ada, Okla., to H.H. "Buck" and Ida Mae Golightly. She had been a resident of the community for more than 70 years and worked at a bookkeeper from many years. Henry was an energetic, loving woman that will be missed by those who knew her and loved her.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Tim Dooley and Leonard Cartrite; a granddaughter, Tammy Benson; a son-in-law, Joe Parsons; three brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include three children, Jean and Benny Benson of Amarillo, Tim Ann Parsons of Dallas and Mike and Nancy Dooley of Rockwall; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675; or a favorite charity.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
