Mrs. Gomez was retired from the Bank of America in San Rafael CA. She had previously been employed by Electric Boat Division, General Dynamics Corp., in Groton CT, and was present at the 1960 launching of the Thresher, the first of it's class of nuclear submarines.
The widow of Ramon Gomez, who died in 1992, she is survived by her daughters Judith Bledsoe of Linden TX, Pamela Hunt of Aptos, Norma Jean Mooney of Windsor CA, Valerie Patten of Aptos, and Marcia McDonnell of Mystic CT; son Ramon Gomez of Medford NJ; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Winton of Ventura CA; and several nieces and nephews.
