Antonia (Tonia) Gomez Banke, 82, of Coachella, Calif., passed away August 3, 2012. She was born October 17, 1929 to Manuelito Gomez and Herlinda Lopez in Miami, Ariz. She was a homemaker for 64 years. She is survived by her daughters, Belen Banke Garcia and Julia Hernandez White; sons, David Gomez, Manuel Hernandez, Charlie Banke, John Banke, and Augustine Hernandez; sister, Socorro Saenz; brothers, Manuel Villegas and Jose Gomez; 22 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on August 10, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Coachella with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. A repast will follow immediately after graveside at Coachella Valley Cemetery and will be held at the American Legion in Indio, Calif. Forest Lawn Memorial Parks & Mortuaries.
