Mr. Gomulka was born in Austria Hungary on Feb. 2, 1883. He came to America at the age of 18 years and located in South Dakota, later coming to Cornell, Wis. In 1922 he was united in marriage to Nettie Korue in Lublin where he resided until his illness in 1941 and became a patient at the Winnebago State Hospital.
He is survived by one son, Palmer of Lublin, and the following step-children: Math Korue of Withee, Rank, Mike and Peter Korue of Chicago, Mrs. Ella Haizel of Withee, Mrs. Anna Fall of Clayton, Mrs. Mary Lange of Chicago, 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. His wife died in 1948.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Borus Molchanoff at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church at Lublin on Monday with interment following in the church cemetery.
