BENFER, MEREDITH -- Age 38, of Richmond, was struck and killed by an automobile, Thursday, May 6, 2004.

She is survived by her husband, Richard H. Benfer; her children, Andrew H. and Katharine H. Benfer; her mother, Barbara K. Goodwin; one brother, Jonathan G. Goodwin and his wife, Karen; her grandmothers, Charlotte H. Kutchukian and Ruth Elder Goodwin; mother and father-in-law, Richard and Jeanneane Benfer; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Cheryl Benfer and John and Pam Benfer.

The family will receive friends 3 to 6 p.m. Monday with a memorial service immediately following at 6 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad, 1101 Horsepen Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229 or to the Tuckahoe YMCA, 9211 Patterson Ave., Richmond, Va. 23229.
