Florence went to be with the Lord on 2-10-13. She was born in Portage Lake, Maine to Adrick and Alice Legere on 12-25-1918. She graduated from Stern's High School in Maine in 1937. She married Earl G. Goodwin in Hartford, Conn. in 1939. They then moved to Waterbury, Conn. where their son Robert was born. Then the family moved to Little Rock, AR. In 1947 the family bought a 24 foot trailer to follow the Calif. dream. First stop was Culver City, CA. Then in 1949 they moved their trailer home to Highgrove, CA. In 1951 they bought a house in Riverside where she lived until 2007 when she moved to the Villa Lea in Riverside. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl, and her sisters Cora Bamford and Vera Campbell of Maine. Florence is survived by her son Robert (Lona) Goodwin, Riverside; grandson Jeffery (Dorina) Goodwin, San Bernardino; granddaughter Melisa (Brett) Coble, Riverside; great grandson Riley Coble, Riverside. A graveside service will be held at Olivewood Cemetery on Feb. 21, 2013 at 12pm. Services were entrusted to Arlington Mortuary, Directors (800) 275-4648. www.arlingtonmortuary.com.
