She had been a Wakefield resident for more than 50 years. She was a dedicated homemaker, and she enjoyed needlework and cross stitching. She was also a member of the Lt. Norman Prince V.F.W. Post of Melrose. Mrs.
Adams was the loving wife of Jonathan Adams; mother of Lawrence Adams of Woburn MA, Kathleen Diaz of Lynn MA, Cheryl Shatney of Weare NH, Crystal Booth of Deering NH, Jonathan Adams of Manchester NH, and Donna Jean Warren of North Reading MA; sister of George Goodwin, Jr., of Kansas, Wayne Goodwin of Pennsylvania, Douglas Goodwin of Maine, and the late Edward Goodwin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Monday, August 30, at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1-5 p.m.
